Historic Sherbrooke Village is alive with history dating back to 1860's and beyond. With the Sherbrooke Village Inn Motel located on scenic Marine Drive just as you arrive in this fantastic location set in what may well be the last frontier in Nova Scotia.
The motel is now under new management and shall now be open for 11 months of the year only closing in January to prepare for the following year.
We are in an ideal location that allows visitors and travellers to explore this fasinating area of Nova Scotia and there will always be a warm and friendly welcome back at the Inn.
All within an easy day trip are the amazing tides of the Bay of Fundy with some of the highest tidal movement in the World, Halifax city is around two and a half hours away along one of the most senic routes in Nova Scotia. Closer still are the delights of Antigonish with it's strong Scottish root's and history, there are the warm sandy beaches od the Northumberland shore or a trip to Cape Breton only an hours away to see the wonderful Cabot Trail. Take a packed lunch from the motel and spend some quality time in wonderful Guysborough County the scenic and rugged Atlantic coastline is full of history and surprise.
Sherbrooke Village and Guysborough County will delight your senses and transport you into another World with quite bays and the wonderful St Mary river all there for kayaking or hicking the many trails. Did we mention the fishing! some of the best to be found anywhere bring a cycle or just kick back and relax and enjoy the great food on offer.
Based on the St Mary river which was at one time the centre for shipbuilding in Noth America during the 18th century before they discovered "Gold" not far from the motel you may wish to try your luck or visit where they found lots of gold in days gone by.
The river is also a very fine fishing river with Salmon being a speciality, no need to ask the Laird or landowner for permission just get your permit and bring your fishing rod.

Our dining room is open from 7:30 am to 9:00 pm. Daily and 8:00 am to 9:00 on Sunday.
Our Fish and Chips are amongst the best on the coast.
Large groups and bus tours are welcome. Please call 24 hours in advance for reservations.
